The Odds are a five-piece rock band from Arkansas playing original music with a mix of cover songs. They have completed their first CD, Stick It In Your Pocket, which won “Best Album” at the 2004 Ozark Music Awards.

They have also won :

Recently, the band advanced to the finals of the nationwide “Take A Shot At Cabo” contest, on the merits of their CD and two band contest victories at the Memphis Hard Rock Café, and have had members featured nationally on GuitarPlayer.com.

The Odds are Derek Van Lynn on keyboards and vocals, Matt Perrine on guitar, Keith Hollingshead on drums, Severino Myers on bass and vocals, and Rick Erke on percussion and vocals.

The Odds have been on the bill with Jimmie Vaughan, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, The Wallflowers, Robert Randolph, among others, and have been a returning feature at Fayetteville’s Bikes, Blues, and BBQ Festival. They contributed to Band Together, a benefit CD for the Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, and have upcoming compilations with such artists as The Cate Brothers in the works.
