The odds are a live music group. The odds are from Arkansas. The Odds play music. The odds play live music. The Odds play rock and roll. The Odds are recording artists. The odds are not really about gambling, but we do gamble. The odds are calculated to be the best. In calculating the odds, we compute an even chance of percentages. We know the odds. What are teh Odds of winning? THe odds are very good you will win, or pay big, if you like The Odds. What are The Odds that I can say "the odds" fifty times? The odds are over the top that this statistical event will happen very ver soon. The odds ibndicate this will happen right now: the odds the odds the odds, the odds! the odds. the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds the odds . Well, that might not be one hundred percent of fifty, but tyhe odds are good that the phrase the odds have been repeated many times in this paragraph. And now, for some discussion of the odds and music related probabilities. But first, I wish to mis-spell our band name, for all the fumble fingers out there: Th odds, he odds, the ods, the dds, t odds, odds the, the odos, teh odds, teh idds, the pdds, the offs, the odda, teh odda, the odds. Ok, that shoudl do it, we think. One more time for the best odds: the odds Th odds, he odds, the ods, the dds, t odds, odds the, the odos, teh odds, teh idds, the pdds, the offs, the odda, teh odda, the odds. The odds play rock music, gambling against all odds to overcome the odds. music jam, pop music, a little funk and jazz, throw in the odds percussion and listen to the soul of the odds. Ok, we've rambled enough about music andf the odds, and also about the odds music, wich you can download and listen to all the time, if you like the odds band from fayetteville arkansas who play music and rock and jma and soul music. see ya at the shows!

Last night's Ozark Music Awards, held at George's Majestic Lounge, was an incredible show and a lot of fun for everyone. The musical performances were all stellar, and included Fayetteville Funk Ensemble, Ouachita River Band, Sarah Hughes Band, Thanks for Nothing, David and the Diamondbacks, Wrought and a special reunion performance by Big Bad Bubba.

OMA 2005 was hosted by All About Town and George's, and sponsored by Tyson Foods, Jose's/Toothpicks restaurants who provided a wonderful buffet during the social hour, and Jim "Dr. Blues" Rose, III.

Highlights of the show included an OMA Special Appreciation presentation to Bu and Margie Waggoner, who helped shape Dickson Street as the live music center of Arkansas as owners of George's and Chester's Place. Don Bunch gave a very touching speech, followed by a few words from Bu, and the Chester's gang were also recognized - Don, Harold Wieties, Tom Clark, Tamara Parker, JR Clary, Roger and Boochie. Cherry Brooks and Pulse 192 were entered into the OMA HALL OF FAME in the R&B Band Category. It was the night of Sarah Hughes, as she walked off with an armload of awards at the end of the show.

Thanks for Nothing just about stole the show with their rendition of a Paula Abdul cover that rocked the house; later, Wrought tore the rest of the house down with a high-energy set that left everyone breathless! And of course, seeing Big Bad Bubba again was a special treat. Some comedy awards included "Most Likely to Fall Off the Stage" (Hal Newton) and "Most Likely to Hurt Something" (Gary Hutchison). And I would have asked Russ Hutchison to write this review, but it would come out all cynical-like (he won "most cynical musician").
